BG Voz Line 1: Batajnica - Ovča
Line 1 is the backbone of the Belgrade commuter network. It links Batajnica and Zemun in the north-west with Krnjača and Ovča across the Danube, passing through Novi Beograd and Beograd centar (Prokop) on the way, which makes it the fastest way to skip bridge traffic for a large part of the city.
The central section runs in a tunnel, so travel time between Novi Beograd and Vukov spomenik is effectively unaffected by road congestion. That is why Line 1 carries the most passengers and runs the most frequent service of the four.
