This policy describes what data the website vozovi.rs (hereinafter "the site") collects, how it uses it, with whom it shares it, and what rights visitors have. The site is an independent community project; the operator is a private individual who wishes to remain anonymous.
1. What Data We Collect
1.1. Delay Reports (Crowdsourcing)
When you report a delay or train cancellation, we store:
- train number and date,
- delay minutes, status (delayed / cancelled),
- optional cancellation reason,
- SHA-256 hash of your IP address (with a fixed salt), which serves exclusively to limit the number of reports (1 report per 10 minutes per train) — the IP address is not stored in its raw form.
Reports are anonymous — we do not request a name, e-mail, phone number, or account signup.
1.2. Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website traffic. Google may store anonymous data about the device, language, region, and behavior on the site (clicks, pages viewed). IP addresses are anonymized before being stored by Google.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymous usage patterns (mouse movement, scrolling, clicks) and builds heatmaps so we can see where visitors get stuck and what needs fixing. Clarity does not collect data that identifies you personally, and text you type into fields is masked. It only starts once you accept analytical cookies. More detail in the Microsoft privacy statement.
1.3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
The site displays advertisements via the Google AdSense platform. Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers (e.g., cookie __gads, NID) to serve relevant ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites.
You can opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting google.com/settings/ads or manage ad-cookie technology generally at aboutads.info.
1.4. Server Logs (Cloudflare)
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, meaning Cloudflare may temporarily store IP addresses and request metadata for security purposes (DDoS protection). This data is not accessible to the site operator and is not used for marketing purposes.
2. How We Use the Data
- Displaying departures, delays, and notices to users.
- Preventing abuse (anti-spam via IP hashes).
- Website usage statistics (anonymous, aggregated).
- Serving ads via AdSense to cover hosting costs.
We do not sell any data to third parties outside of the listed services (Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare).
3. Cookies
The site uses the following types of cookies:
- Functional: We do not use persistent functional cookies — the site functions without logging in.
- Analytical: Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_*) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck,_clsk) — anonymous traffic and usage tracking. - Advertising: Google AdSense (
__gads,NID, etc.) — personalized ads. Google uses these cookies in accordance with its advertising policy.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. You can also change or withdraw the consent given on this site at any time:
4. Third Parties
The site shares certain data with the following services to the extent necessary for functioning:
- Google LLC — Analytics, Tag Manager, AdSense (see their privacy policy).
- Microsoft Corporation — Clarity usage analytics (see their privacy statement).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and CDN (see their privacy policy).
5. Your Rights (GDPR / Data Protection Law)
You have the right to:
- request access to the data concerning you,
- request correction or deletion of incorrect data,
- withdraw consent for personalized ads (see Section 1.3),
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Since delay reports are anonymous (IPs are not stored in their raw form), the operator cannot identify individual users — therefore, deletion requests for specific reports cannot be executed selectively. All reports older than 24h are automatically removed from active display.
6. Children
The site is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data on minors.
7. Policy Changes
This policy may change. The last update date is specified at the top of the page. Significant changes will be announced in the "Notices" section on the homepage.
