What changed on 12 and 19 October 2026
On 12 October 2026 Srbija Voz opened the TPS Novi Sad stop to passengers and introduced a new service pattern on the Belgrade - Subotica line. From 19 October 2026 trains call at two more places again: SOKO at Petrovaradin and Inter Regio at Tošin bunar.
- SOKO (Inter City): every Beograd Centar - Subotica train (540 to 557) calls at TPS Novi Sad, and from 19 October 2026 at Petrovaradin too. Departures from Beograd Centar are at 5:54, 7:54, 9:54, 11:54, 13:54, 15:54, 17:54, 19:54 and 21:54, and from Subotica towards Belgrade every two hours from 5:51 to 21:51. Beograd Centar to Petrovaradin takes about 39 minutes, and to TPS Novi Sad about 47 minutes.
- Inter Regio: the Beograd Centar - Subotica trains (642, 646, 650 and 654, leaving Belgrade at 6:57, 10:57, 14:57 and 18:57) and the return trains (641, 645, 649 and 653, leaving Subotica at 4:54, 8:54, 12:54 and 16:54) call at TPS Novi Sad, and from 19 October 2026 at Tošin bunar too. They do not stop at Petrovaradin. Beograd Centar to TPS Novi Sad takes about 51 minutes.
- Regio and Regio Express: trains from Belgrade now continue past Petrovaradin to TPS Novi Sad. They still stop at Tošin bunar and Petrovaradin, and take about 60 minutes (Regio Express) to 67 minutes (Regio) from Beograd Centar to TPS Novi Sad.
- Unchanged: trains from the Šid and Sremska Mitrovica direction and the Inter Regio between Užice and Petrovaradin keep their timetable and still end at Petrovaradin. A few late trains from Belgrade also still end there.

Where the TPS Novi Sad stop is
TPS Novi Sad is on Rumenački put, by the roundabout, in the north-west of Novi Sad, roughly 4 km from the city centre.
Since 7 October 2026 city bus line 4 runs to the stop, under the name Liman 4 - centar - Železnička stanica (Rumenački put). From Bulevar oslobođenja it continues along Bulevar Jaše Tomića, Rumenačka and Rumenački put, and stops at a new bus stop in the car park by the platforms. When you search vozovi.rs for Beograd Centar → Novi Sad on a date from 12 October 2026, the results show trains to TPS Novi Sad. All of today’s departures are on the Belgrade - Novi Sad timetable.
Petrovaradin and getting to the centre
Petrovaradin still matters. Trains from the Šid and Sremska Mitrovica direction, the Inter Regio from Užice and a few late trains from Belgrade end their run at Petrovaradin. Regio and Regio Express trains from Belgrade, and from 19 October 2026 SOKO too, stop there before continuing to TPS Novi Sad. Inter Regio trains to Vrbas and Subotica do not stop at Petrovaradin.
The free Srbija Voz bus between Petrovaradin station and central Novi Sad was withdrawn from 12 October 2026, according to the operator’s notice of 14 October. City bus line 3 of JGSP Novi Sad (Petrovaradin - Centar - Detelinara) stops by the railway station instead. More on the Petrovaradin - Novi Sad bus page.
Returning from Novi Sad to Belgrade
- SOKO and Inter Regio trains towards Belgrade leave from TPS Novi Sad. For example, the SOKO that leaves Subotica at 5:51 departs TPS Novi Sad at 6:38 and Petrovaradin at 6:47, reaches Tošin bunar at 7:17 and Beograd Centar at 7:25.
- From 19 October 2026 all of these trains stop at Tošin bunar: SOKO, Inter Regio, Regio and Regio Express.
- If your train leaves from Petrovaradin, take city bus line 3 from the centre early enough to reach the station a few minutes before departure.

- Petrovaradin Station Ticket Office: Staffed ticket windows are open at Petrovaradin station.

Online is easiest: the official Srbija Voz app or website gives a 5% discount. In person, there are ticket counters at Petrovaradin station. If you are boarding at TPS Novi Sad, buy your ticket online in advance.
Where do trains to Sombor and Karavukovo leave from?
Until further notice, from Novi Sad ranžirna station. Srbija Voz runs a free bus there from the city centre, from the stop in Šafarikova street by Uspenska, which also stops opposite the old railway station. The bus times match the trains (notice of 14 October 2026).
